Welcome to the
The Health Academy is a college and career ready program for Elizabeth Learning Center students. Health Academy uniquely prepares the students within our community for entry into liberal arts, vocational colleges and universities. The academy also provides students with: health industry certifications, post-secondary educational opportunities, job entry, and life skills to succeed with careers in the health field.
Through our health-specific courses, as well as partnerships with private-sector health providers, it is our goal in the Health Academy to graduate Seniors with sufficient skills to:
- Enroll in a university and pursue an advance degree in health care.
- Enroll in a technical/vocational school or community college and pursue a career in a health care profession.
- Qualify for a skilled position in health care.
